Our Story:

Thirst was first opened in September of 2016 in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City by local Utah entrepreneurs Ethan Cisneros and Sierra McCleve. The two started Thirst after previously owning a shaved ice shack together that Ethan operated while still in high school. Ethan is who you will see bursting with energy on social media, working around the stores, and at catering events as he leads the company towards a vision of providing an unmatched EXPERIENCE through the drive thru. Going forward, Ethan plans to lead the company with an offensive approach by continuously innovating and always looking for ways to provide the most value possible for the “Thirsty Nation” (Thirst customers).

The Thirst Experience:

A common line among the leadership in our company is “Drinks and treats are our commodity, but what we are selling is an experience.” But what exactly is the Thirst experience? The Thirst experience is stopping by the shop for a drink, and leaving feeling happier than before. The experience is what differentiates Thirst from our competitors. The experience is made up of a warm and genuine greeting upon arrival, inviting smells of cookies and FREE popcorn, focused and simple menu design, made-from-scratch fresh soft pretzel and beignets, a new feature each weekend, and much more. When our customers think of Thirst, we want them to remember the experience they had, not just the delicious drinks and treats.
